MVP was founded in 2010 by two brothers in the USA, who loved disc golf and worked in their father's plastic injection factory. In the very beginning they had an idea to use a gummier and heavier material for the rim, so it would catch chains better and fly more predictably thanks to the gyroscopic effect. They patented this technology under GYRO® and use it for every disc ever since. MVP sparks an interest among those scientific souls and technology enthusiasts.
